Ingredients:-

FOR RABRI:-

* Milk (दूध) - 700 grams

* Cardamom powder (इलायची पाउडर) - ½ tsp

* Saffron leaves (केसर की पत्ती) - some leaves

* Milk powder (मिल्क पाउडर) - ½ cup

* Sugar (चीनी ) - 4 tbsp or as per taste



FOR SUGAR SYRUP:-

* Sugar(चीनी) - ¾ cup

* Water (पानी) - ¾ cup

* Kewra Essence/Rose Water (केवरा एसेंस/गुलाबजल)



FOR SHAHI TUKDA:-

* Bread (ब्रेड) - 7-8 Slices

* Ghee (घी) - ¾ tbsp

* Almonds (बादाम) - some quantity

* Pistachios (पिस्ता) -  some quantity

* Cashew Nuts (काजू) - some quantity



DOUBLE KA MEETHA (SHAHI TUKDA) RECIPE:

For Rabri, Put 700 ml of Milk in a pan along with cream and boil it.

When it starts boiling, put some Cardamom Powder, Saffron Leaves, ½ cup of Milk Powder and 4 tbsp of Sugar.

Let it to be cooked on medium flame till it gets thick and then keep it for cooling down so that it will become thicker.

For Sugar Syrup, Take another pan and put ¾ cup of Sugar, ¾ cup of Water, some Saffron Leaves and some drops of Kevra Essence in it. When the Sugar Syrup gets sticky turn the flame off and keeps it aside.

Now, Take some Bread Slices and cut the slice in 2 parts (triangle shape). Keep a Non Stick Pan on the flame and lightly toast the bread pieces from both the sides for making them crispy.

Take a wok and put ½ tsp of Ghee in it and heat it. Put 3 toasted bread pieces in the wok for shallow frying. Take out the bread pieces the slices get crispy and in the same way shallow fry the other pieces as well.

After frying the bread pieces, in the remaining Ghee put some chopped Almonds, Pistachios and Cashew Nuts and roast them, then turn off the flame.

When the Rabri gets cool down, put it in a dish and then dip the crispy Bread Slices in the Sugar Syrup and keep them in the Rabri.

Then put some more Rabri on the Bread Slices and garnish it with the roasted Dry Fruits.

The Double Ka Meetha Recipe is ready to serve.
